What we check

We test toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This is a target, not an independent certification.

No independent auditor has reviewed tats.to, and nobody has yet reported completing the full booking flow with a screen reader. If you use one, we would value your feedback.

Until that work is done, we cannot promise that every page will work perfectly on every device.

How we verify

Every release runs automated accessibility checks across all public pages and the artist account.

Each covered page and key interaction is checked in a real browser at mobile and desktop sizes. axe-core tests the WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 Level A and AA rules.

We also check horizontal overflow, reduced-motion support, and keyboard access.

What the checks miss

Automated testing finds a minority of real accessibility problems. It is good at color contrast, missing form labels, broken heading order and controls a keyboard cannot reach. It cannot tell you whether a label makes sense, whether an error message explains the error, or whether a page is usable with a screen reader at all. A page can pass everything above and still be hard work.
