Tattoo deposit policy template

Enter your deposit amount and notice period to create a draft policy. Review the wording, then copy it to your booking page, send it to a client or print it for your studio.

A deposit policy is part of a contract with your client, and consumer law decides how much of it holds. This wording is a sensible starting point rather than legal advice, so read it against the rules where you work before you rely on it.

Studio deposit policy

Booking with Studio requires a deposit. The date is not held until the deposit is paid.

It comes off the price of the tattoo on the day. It is not a booking fee and it is not an extra charge.

It also covers drawing time. If you change the design after drawing has begun, the original deposit covers that work and the new booking requires another deposit.

Tell us at least 7 days before the appointment and we will move it and apply the deposit to the new date, up to 1 time.

If you give less than 7 days of notice or do not attend, the deposit is not refunded. A new appointment requires a new deposit because the original time can no longer be offered to another client.

If we have to move your appointment, the deposit moves with it, and you can have it back in full if the new date does not suit you.
